Enbridge encourages our employees to actively participate in their communities.

Through our Volunteers in Partnership (VIP) program, we support their contributions of time and dollars to charitable organizations in countries where Enbridge has operations by:

• providing grants of up to $500 to non-profit organizations, in countries where Enbridge has operations, where employees have volunteered at least 40 hours of their personal time
• providing grants to match an employee's individual fundraising efforts for one event per year up to a maximum of $500
  (events could include the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer in Alberta, the MS150 Bike Ride in Texas or the United Way Tower Climb in Toronto)
• matching employee donations of up to $5,000 for Enbridge’s United Way campaigns
• giving employees the opportunity to take one paid day off per year to volunteer at the non-profit organization of their choice in countries where Enbridge has operations
• giving employees one paid day off per year for supervisor-led team building volunteer activities

Through this support, everyone at Enbridge gains a better understanding of our communities, the challenges they face and the ways we can best support them.
